DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Brown County officials are marking the completion of the new I-41 and Southbridge Road interchange near De Pere.
The interchange is part of a larger expansion project to rebuild 23 miles of I-41 from four to six lanes between WIS 96 (Wisconsin Avenue) in Appleton and County F (Scheuring Road) in De Pere.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is expected to be at Wednesday’s ribbon-cutting.
The interchange has been under construction since the summer of 2024, with the Southbridge Road ramp closed to drivers for the past 30 days.
The full I-41 project is expected to be complete in 2030.
