APPLETON (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton police say multiple people are hurt with what appear to be gunshot wounds in a neighborhood on the city’s south side Friday night.
Police were called to the area of 3400 block of S. Hemlock Ln. around 8 p.m. That is just off Midway Rd. This is along the Appleton-Menasha boundary, behind Festival Foods.
During a short news conference Friday night, police could not share any updates on the victims’ conditions. Capt. Meghan Cash says it will take several hours to process the scene.
Police ask the public to avoid the area.
Cash said no one is in custody, but she would not elaborate when asked if the suspect is one of the people injured.
