MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Student Transport of America is closing its Manitowoc facility, putting 39 people out of work, according to a notice filed with the state.
“Assist to Transport/Student Transportation of America, Inc. has made the decision to cease all operations at the above employment site. The entire employment site will be permanently closed. The planned action is permanent,” wrote Michael Goff, vice president of operations.
The layoffs are expected to start Jan. 1.
The employment site is listed as 71 Albert Drive, Manitowoc.
