Three-time All-Star forward Dearica Hamby is finalizing a three-year, fully guaranteed contract to remain with the Los Angeles Sparks, ESPN reported on Saturday.
Per the report, the total sum of the deal is close to $3.5 million.
The news on Hamby comes one day after Nneka Ogwumike announced she was returning to the Sparks.
Hamby, 32, recorded career highs in points per game (18.4) and field goal percentage (57.2%) in 44 games (all starts) last season. She also averaged 7.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
The Sixth Player of the Year in 2019 and 2020 and a WNBA champion with Las Vegas in 2022, Hamby has averaged 11.2 points and 6.3 boards in 366 career games (188 starts).
Ogwumike, a former WNBA MVP, spent her first 12 seasons with the Sparks before playing the last two seasons with the Seattle Storm.
