MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is dead after a crash in Manitowoc.
It happened near the intersection of Dewey St. and S. 21st St. just before 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The semi truck, operated by a 61-year-old Two Rivers man, was heading eastbound on Dewey St. and tried to turn northbound. That’s when the motorcycle, which was heading westbound on Dewey St., collided with the semi.
The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old Manitowoc man, was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The 61-year-old man was not hurt.
No names have been released.
