MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Menasha Joint School District launched its search for the next superintendent.
Last month, former superintendent Matt Zimmerman resigned after accepting a district-wide administrative position within the Appleton Area School District.
Zimmerman’s last day with the district is June 30.
“We appreciate Matt’s leadership and service to the Menasha Joint School District over the past three years,” said Board of Education President Rob Konitzer. “As we begin the superintendent search process, we are committed to finding a leader who will continue building on the District’s momentum, and who will support the success of all students, staff, and families.”
The District is being supported in the superintendent search process by Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) 6. The CESA 6 team will screen applicants and present candidate recommendations to the Menasha Joint School District Board of Education on Thursday, May 28.
The Board intends to finalize the hiring of a new superintendent mid June for the position’s July 1 start date.
