Former Badgers player Dekker joins coaching ranks

(LEARFIELD) – After 11 professional seasons, former Badger Sam Dekker is taking an assistant coaching position with the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Dekker will be working with another former Badger – head coach Lamont Paris, who worked under Hall of Fame Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan.

Paris was an assistant who worked with players like Dekker during the time the Badgers made back-to-back appearances in the Final Four.
