MADISON, Wis (May 15, 2026) – The Wisconsin Association of FFA will be hosting its 97th Annual Wisconsin FFA Convention and Expo on June 15th-18th at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis. The association is excited to come together to celebrate the accomplishments of the organization’s 267 chapters during this past academic year.
Wisconsin FFA Executive Director, Cheryl Zimmerman shared the following sentiments about the event, “The Wisconsin FFA Convention and Expo allows us to celebrate our members, advisors and chapters as they receive state recognition for the great work they have done. Many members will be competing in state-level competitions, others will be pursuing their goal of becoming a state FFA officer, while others are receiving recognition through their individual work related to supervised agricultural experiences. Throughout the convention, Wisconsin FFA also gets the opportunity to say thank you to organizations and companies that support FFA throughout the year and who make a positive difference in the activities and award programs our members can participate in.”
Amalia Draxler, Wisconsin FFA President, shared her team’s excitement regarding the convention, “The State FFA Convention is important because of the opportunities and connections it provides. Convention is a rare chance for over 4,000 people from across the state to be in one place, yet we are all connected. Each of us shares the same love of agriculture and growing leaders. Almost any past FFA member that I talk to can recall their first time at the State FFA Convention, which is truly a special memory. I hope that every person who attends the convention takes time to reflect on their time of connection.”
Highlights of the convention will include the Day of Service within the Madison community, charters presented to six FFA chapters, the Wisconsin State FFA Degree bestowed to over 400 FFA members, announcement of the Wisconsin FFA State Stars, competitions, workshops and more. The 2026-2027 Officer Team will be announced. Additionally, the association will recognize sponsors, alumni, and supporters whose commitment to Agricultural Education makes instilling premier leadership, personal growth, and career success within its members possible.
