NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A four-legged officer is joining the Neenah Police Department.
K9 Bo is the agency’s newest member, officials announced Monday. Bo and his handler, Officer Bryce Sweeney, recently graduated from training in Dodge County “and are ready to begin serving the Neenah community together.”
Bo, a Belgian Malinois, was born in Hungary and is about 16 months old. He specializes in narcotics detection, officer protection and apprehension.
“When he’s off duty, Bo enjoys long morning stretches, belly rubs and proudly carrying Officer Sweeney’s work boots around the house,” said NPD in a Facebook post.
