OSHKOSH (WLUK) — Two people have been arrested following a weapons call in Oshkosh early Monday morning.
According to the Oshkosh Police Department, it responded to a disturbance around 12:15 a.m.
It was reported that an adult male handed a handgun off to a juvenile.
Upon arrival, multiple juveniles fled and several were stopped by law enforcement. One adult male was also taken into custody.
After obtaining a search warrant, three stolen firearms were located inside the residence in the 800 block of Wisconsin Street.
As a result, a 42-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested for six charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
A 17-year-old Oshkosh man was also arrested for three charges, including possession of a dangerous weapon under 18 years old.
There were no injuries reported from the incident.
Oshkosh Police believe it was an isolated incident and that there is no further risk to the public.
