BROWN COUNTY (WTAQ-WLUK) — A male is hospitalized after being shot early Saturday morning at the Oneida Casino property in Green Bay.
Ashwaubenon police were called to 2020 Airport Drive at 1:53 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a male in the casino ramp with a gunshot wound to the back.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect, identified as a family member of the victim, fled the scene. The suspect was quickly located on State Highway 172 near County Highway GV and taken into custody during a traffic stop.
The suspect was later booked in the Brown County Jail on charges including First Degree Intentional Homicide/Attempted, Knowingly Violate a Domestic Abuse Injunction, and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated. Additional charges may be added upon further investigation.
