(WNFL) – Jacob Misiorowski allowed 1 run over 6 innings and the Milwaukee Brewers scored 5 runs off of the Chicago Cubs bullpen to beat the Chicago 6-2 Friday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Misiorowski allowed a solo home run to Seiyo Suzuki, walked 4 and struck out 8 over 6 innings.
The Brewers got home runs from William Contreras and Garrett Mitchell. Both were 2-run home runs off relievers Ethan Roberts and Jayden Murray.
The 2 teams will meet again Saturday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Kyle Harrison who is 8-1 with a 2.50 ERA will pitch for the Brewers.
David Peterson who is 3-6 with a 6.09 ERA and just acquired by the Cubs from the New York Mets will pitch for Chicago.
