Noah Czarneski (Lee County Jail, Florida)
CHILTON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A sexual assault suspect who fled to Florida made his first appearance Friday in Calumet County court.
Noah Czarneski, 20, faces three counts, including second-degree sexual assault with use of force.
He was charged in 2025 in both Brown and Calumet counties. He was arrested in Florida five months after he was reported missing.
In court Friday, Calumet County Judge Carey Reed set a $1 million cash bond. He returns to court Aug. 14 for a status conference.
In Brown County, a $1 million cash bond was set in April. He returns to court July 20 for those charges.
In October 2025, a vehicle driven by Czarneski was found abandoned near Dundas in Calumet County. He had not been in contact with family members for several days at that point and was subsequently reported missing. After he missed an October court date, a warrant was issued for Czarneski.
More than five months later, in late March, Czarneski was booked into the Lee County Jail in Fort Myers, Florida, as an out-of-state fugitive. He had given false identification to law enforcement.
