The Packers hold their first training camp practice on Wednesday.
Policy wants more events in Lambeau Field: Packers president and CEO Ed Policy says the franchise will focus on holding more major events at Lambeau Field to create revenue streams.
College football and soccer games could also help the publicly-held team compete with the 31 privately-held franchises in the NFL.
WGBA-TV reports that Policy says those extra events are “great for the community and for the regional and local economy.”
He says two recent concerts brought an estimate 93 thousand people to Titletown.
Badgers football will open the 2026 college season at Lambeau against Notre Dame next month.
