KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A person was displaced in a Kaukauna house fire.
The fire department responded to the 100 block of Grant Street around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Crews found smoke coming from the front door and filling the entire home upon arrival.
The fire was located in the basement and put out within 30 minutes.
Crews remained on scene to ventilate the basement from smoke and gas.
No residents or firefighters were hurt in the fire, but one resident was displaced.
Damages from the fire are estimated to cost $100,000.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
