(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Packers will sport a new look during one game this season.
Green Bay revealed its new NFL Rivalries alternate uniform, which will debut on October 11th against the Chicago Bears.
The uniform features a desaturated vintage green jersey with delicate alabaster and gold stripes, paired with alabaster pants and a matching matte helmet with green and gold striping and a matte green facemask.
Starters to sit: Don’t expect to see any starters take the field Friday when the Packers play their only home preseason game at Lambeau Field.
The Arizona Cardinals have already arrived in Green Bay for a joint practice and that game.
Yahoo Sports reports that head coach Matt LaFleur has pointed to this week as a critical one for his starting players.
If they get the work they need against the Cardinals’ starters – and avoid injuries – the week will have been a good one.
Will he get a roster spot? In his first game back since suffering a severe ankle injury late last season, the slot corner Kamal Hadden registered 5 tackles and 2 tackles for loss in the win at Denver. He’s expected to lock down a spot on the 53-man roster.
Haddan talked about those tackles yesterday.
He said that he didn’t have a favorite play in the game.

The other LaFleur: Arizona coach Mike LaFleur spoke yesterday about the joint practice with the Packers today.
He said that when its 113-degree’s in Phoenix, you look to head North for joint practice.
LaFleur said that a joint practice helps players prepare for the season.
