GREEN BAY (WTAQ) — Fourth-ranked Notre Dame pulled away in the second half Sunday night, beating Wisconsin 41-13 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Fighting Irish led just 13-10 at halftime before scoring touchdowns on all three of their second-half possessions.
Quarterback C.J. Carr threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns, while Aneyas Williams ran for 90 yards and two scores. Notre Dame also got a 3-yard touchdown catch from Green Bay native James Flanigan, whose father and grandfather both played for the Packers.
Wisconsin entered the game as a three-touchdown underdog but stayed close early. The Badgers are trying to rebound from two straight losing seasons, while Notre Dame is looking to make a strong case for the College Football Playoff.
