(LEARFIELD/WNFL) – The Green Bay Packers wiped out a 10-point deficit in the last 11 minutes of regulation, then beat the New York Jets in overtime Sunday afternoon 20-17 at East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Rookie Trey Smack’s 26-yard field goal ended a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about the win.
LaFleur talked about winning the game after looking dead in the water early in the 4th quarter.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love talked about how they managed to pull this one out.
It was an ugly game with 14 Green Bay penalties setting the team back 133 yards.
He said that they have a lot to clean up.

Packers defensive end Lucas Van Ess had a dominating game for the team, finishing with 10 tackles including 3 for lost yardage and 1 1/2 sacks.
