(BIG EAST) – Marquette University women’s soccer freshman goalkeeper Mia Hurd earned her sixth BIG EAST weekly honor of the season on Monday, being named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week following a four-save shutout at Georgetown on Sept. 30.
Hurd helped the Golden Eagles secure a 0-0 draw with the Hoyas, ending an 11-match losing streak to Georgetown and marking Marquette’s first result against the Hoyas since 2015.
