(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) ROCHESTER, MICH – The Green Bay men’s soccer team hit the road on Wednesday, and played to a scoreless draw against Oakland. Both teams had opportunities to score throughout the match, with GB taking 14 shots and Oakland taking 12, but neither was able to find the back of the net. The two teams will each earn a point, which puts Oakland tied for first with 10 points, while Green Bay sits in fourth with nine points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Both halves were neck-and-neck, with Green Bay outshooting the hosts 6-5 in the first half, and 8-7 in the second half. Each team faced three shots on its own goal, which led to three saves to GB’s Drew Swancutt and Oakland’s Cole Thompson.
