NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) — Neenah Police are on the lookout for a person of interest in an early morning stabbing in the 400 block of Sherry Street.
Police were called out at around 1:35 am for a weapons complaint. Witnesses reported multiple people were fighting in the street, one person had been stabbed, and everyone had left the area.
One victim received a stab wound to the chest and a cut to an arm and was transported to ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah. The victim required surgery and is recovering from the injuries.
Police are looking for 53-year-old Brian D. Murphy. Witnesses had observed him leaving the scene in a black and silver 1988 Chevy Sportvan with Wisconsin license plate ACD-6667.
