GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Spring leaf collection will be starting up again in Green Bay later this month.
Yard waste collection will start April 12th. Public Works Operations Director Chris Pirlot says there are a few things to keep in mind, however.
“Green Bay does have an ordinance that you cannot put your yard and garden waste into the curb line on the pavement,” Pirlot told WTAQ. “You have to put it up on the terrace. It’s a stormwater runoff, cleanliness issue.”
Loose leaves, garden waste, and grass clippings should be separated and put into bags and placed on the curb but not in the street, where it could cause drainage problems.
Final collection will be May 9th.
