UNDATED (WLUK) – A State Representative says State Sen. Andre Jacque is in serious need of prayers.
Two Rivers State Representative Shae Sortwell, posted on his Facebook page that Jacque is in the hospital with COVID-induced pneumonia.
Jacque announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
On Tuesday, he said he was feeling fatigued, but was in good spirits.
He has been outspoken against mask and vaccine mandates throughout the pandemic.
FOX 11 asked Jacque’s office if he has been vaccinated against COVID-19, but his communications director did not provide an answer.
