HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person has died as a result of a crash Wednesday afternoon in the Green Bay area.
Brown County sheriff’s officials say the crash happened around 1:15 p.m. in Howard.
According to officials, a 47-year-old from Green Bay was heading east on Larsen Road and approaching S. Taylor Street. The driver appeared to lose control of the vehicle while negotiating a slight curve, which caused the vehicle to hit a tree before coming to rest.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash appears to be related to a medical emergency, officials say.
The crash remains under investigation.
