GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Wisconsin’s winter energy disconnection moratorium is ending next week.
Matt Cullen with Wisconsin Public Service says that if you’re behind on your payments, they’ll be able to help.
“We’re working closely with out customers, as we do throughout the year, offering payment plans and help with heating assistance to help them say connected,” Cullen said.
The moratorium expires on April 15th. Cullen says disconnection is always their last resort and those on a payment plan will not have their energy disconnected.
“Because of the efforts we make throughout the year, less than 1% of our customers are at risk for disconnection,” Cullen added.
