GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Carnivore Meat Company is bringing 150 jobs with the construction of its new headquarters.
The pet food company broke ground Monday for its new site in Green Bay.
Carnivore expects to employ an additional 150 people over the next five years to fill positions on the manufacturing floor, in high-tech automation and engineering positions, and corporate employees.
The company says the new 235,000 square foot facility will increase production capacity and utilize new technology.
“I think it’s a culmination of 10 years work in process,” said Carnivore CEO Lanny Viegut. “It’s a big deal for the community, for our people, for our customers all over the world. It’s just another step in our journey; it’s really just the beginning.”
