GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person is now in the hospital following an apartment fire.
Green Bay Fire crews responded to a report of smoke coming out of a building at 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
It happened on the city’s west side in the 1200 block of Lore Lane.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and damage was limited to a unit on the second floor.
All residents were allowed to return to their apartments, except for those living in the unit that caught fire.
The estimated loss is $10,000.
The Green Bay Fire Department says an investigation is ongoing.
