FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help with what they referred to as “a serious criminal offense” involving a child.
The office posted on Facebook Thursday evening, requesting surveillance video from those who live in a portion of Fond du Lac. The boundaries were shown in an attached map.
The map stretches from near the Fond du Lac Family YMCA to near where S. Park Avenue and 7th Street meet. Video of traffic — during the timeframes of Dec. 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Dec. 9 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. — from anywhere on the map is considered of interest to them.
Officials say the suspect is known to the child, and this was not a random act.
