GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – From pet costumes to cheesy underwear, the Packers Pro Shop has some unique items. But one of its most unique items gives fans the chance to have a piece of the Lambeau Field stadium right in their homes.
Sections of railing — pieces that have been a part of the iconic stadium since its creation in 1957 — are available exclusively in the Packers Pro Shop.
The team replaced several sections of the railings during the offseason last year, and the shop has been selling a few sections at a time since then. They’ve made their way through the smaller sections and are now onto the larger pieces, which are roughly eight or nine feet long. And they cost $3,500 each.
Even if you had the funds to buy multiple sections of this 65-year-old railing, the Packers have limited the number each fan can buy.
The railings are a limited time item, but should the field replace more sections in the future, the team says they might sell those sections too.
