GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Curative Connections celebrated its 75th anniversary Monday as the organization continues to make a difference.
The nonprofit helps families, seniors and people with disabilities find support and care regarding aging, dementia, brain injury or any other disability.
Members and staff gathered Monday for an ice cream social and to share some of their favorite memories over the years.
“As far as local nonprofit agencies, I believe we are one of the longest-standing nonprofits here serving the Green Bay area for 75 years, and I think that says a lot for who we are and what we do. And really responding to a community need and what that means and just wonderful people that support us with what we do so we can continue offering the services for another 75 years,” said Curative Connections President/CEO Jeanne Stangel.
Stangel also noted that they plan to host another event in July to celebrate the milestone that includes a time capsule.
