GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Appleton welcomed home some Northeast Wisconsin veterans Wednesday night after their Old Glory Honor Flight.
The veterans flew out of the Appleton International Airport Wednesday morning for a trip to Washington, D.C.
While in the nation’s capital, the veterans visited the World War II Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and more.
The group returned home to a community gathered in support.
