ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — An Ashwaubenon flag store specializing in flags, flagpoles, and installations has been a full service flag company since 1985.
Stacey Stewart, owner of Fly Me Flag, says they’re in the midst of their busy season; which is from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
“This is when folks are participating in fairs, festivals, parades, and hosting patriotic parties,” said Stewart.
Fly Me Flag provides flags of all types and varieties.
“American flags are the heart of what we do,” said Stewart. “We also supply state flags, international flags, and fun flags for holidays and sports teams.”
With Flag Day approaching, traffic in the store is higher than normal, which means staff is able to educate more people.
“We have a knowledgeable team that’s able to answer questions about U.S. Flag Code, flag etiquette, and the proper way to display an American flag,” said Stewart.
They also repair flags, and partner with local veteran groups and Boy Scout troops to properly retire flags that are no longer suitable for flying.
Flag Day is on Wednesday. Stewart says in the season where we are celebrating American values, it’s especially important to support American manufacturing and purchase American flags made here in the states.
