FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fond du Lac police believe a man who was arrested for trying to get into a home could be linked to other recent incidents.
Just after midnight on Sunday, police were called to the 200 block of Bischoff Avenue for a report of a man attempting to enter a residence.
Officers quickly established a perimeter to locate the suspect. A K9 unit and a drone were deployed.
The 46-year-old suspect was found in the 400 block of Roosevelt Street and taken into custody.
The police department says it received multiple complaints of a person looking into windows in the northeast neighborhood between June 2 and June 18. On June 13, a person was reported to have entered a residence in the 200 block of Bischoff Avenue.
Police say with the increase in complaints, extra patrols are out in the area to ensure the safety of the neighborhood.
