BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) — You can find out how the Canadian wildfire smoke is impacting your specific location or event.
Smoke from multiple wildfires in Canada will continue to cloud Wisconsin skies in the coming days, but there are resources to help people determine the air quality in their specific communities.
Brown County Public Health strategist, Claire Paprocki, says the website “airnow.gov” can track current conditions and help people plan accordingly.
“You enter in your zip code, city or location and it’ll show you what the air quality advice or guidance or recommendations is for your specific area.”
Paprocki says “airnow.gov” will also provide guidance and recommendations on what precautions to take in your specific area.
An Air Quality Advisory remains in effect for Brown County, Outagamie County, and across Wisconsin.
