(WNFL) – It’s a day that high school football players have been waiting for.
This is the day that per the WIAA website, high school football players can get their equipment handed to them and they can have their first practice.
The earliest teams will be allowed to have a scrimmage is August 10th with the earliest games August 17.
Playoff games will begin on October 20 and 21 with the title games taking place at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison on November 16 and 17.
The issuing of equipment for 8-man football isn’t until August 8th.
