MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — The first Republican presidential debate is now less than two weeks away at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, and the big question remains – will Donald Trump show up?
Former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker thinks he will.
“I think he will still show up for this simple reason. He’s not conventional. This guy’s a prizefighter. Whether you agree with him or not, a prizefighter belongs in the ring,” said Walker. “I don’t think he can resist the idea that there’s going to be eight, maybe nine or 10 people here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with all this national attention.”
At the Milwaukee Press Club this week, Walker said if he were advising Trump, he’d tell him to attend the August 24 debate.
