MARION, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Northeast Wisconsin family-owned business is marking a milestone.
Marion Body Works celebrated the completion of its 15,000th custom cab for Spartan Motors Wednesday.
Marion Body Works is a national manufacturer of commercial truck bodies, fire and emergency apparatus, custom cabs, custom engineered vehicles, and defense bodies.
Cal Kanowitz, director of sales and marketing for Marion Body Works, says they’ve been building custom cabs for Spartan Motors in Michigan since 1995.
“The history here for us, our employees take a ton of pride in what we do and in our relationships. They’ve been coming to work everyday building Spartan cabs, they know who Spartan is, they know that these trucks get put out as full fire trucks and so it really brings a lot of meaning to their job and their quality of craftsmanship,” he said.
In 2014, Marion Body Works delivered its 10,000th cab to Spartan Motors.
