(WNFL) – The Wisconsin Badgers allowed Indiana to jump out to a 7-0 lead and the Hoosiers never trailed in the 20-14 win over Wisconsin.
Indiana took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on Brendan Sorsby’s 8-yard run and extended it to 10-0 in the second quarter on a 27-yard field goal by Chris Freeman.
Braedyn Locke connected on a 54-yard touchdown pass to Bryson Green Bay with 4 minutes left in the first half with Indiana adding a touchdown ona pass from Sorsby to Donaven McCutley covering 7 yards with under a minute left in the first half.
Locke completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Will Pauling in third quarter to cut Indiana’s lead to 17-14.
Indiana capped the scoring with a 50-yard field goal by Freeman with 1:10 left in the game.
Indiana had the advantage in time of possession 33:29-to-26:31.
Locke completed 21-of-43 passes for 243 yards.
Jackson Acker and Cade Yacamelli both rushed for 48 yards for Wisconsin.
Green had 96 receiving yards.
Wisconsin finished with 344 yards of offense. Indiana had 261 yards of offense.
