ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A new hotel for Oneida Street was approved Tuesday by the Ashwaubenon Village Board.
The four-story, 100-room Cambria Suites will be built on the current site of Asheville Square and the Acts 1:8 offices, a few blocks south of Lambeau Field.
The village board vote was unanimous, according to Community Development Director Aaron Schuette.
One additional condition was added: that the northern driveway be signed for “Service or Public Safety Vehicles Only” to keep the public driveway ingress/egress at the primary S. Oneida Street or Element Way driveways, Schuette said.
The hotel would include a first-floor restaurant, lobby, pool, fitness room, restrooms, laundry and utilities. The fourth-floor would include a hotel bar with a deck facing Oneida Street. More on-site parking was added compared to the original plan, as well.
