GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The second of four suspects arrested in connection with a Berner Street murder was formally charged Tuesday.
Elijah White, 18, faces counts of being party to the crime of first-degree intentional homicide and obstruction in connection with the Aug. 7 shooting of Brandon Ramirez.
Previously, Dion Richardson, 18, was charged in the case. Prosecutors are also expected to charge Nigel White and Darian Pinchart in the coming days.
The criminal complaints in the two filed case have been sealed from public view. Court records reference “intercepted wire communications” as the reason for the sealed documents.
At a previous hearing, Deputy District Attorney Wendy Lemkuil suggested the three suspects have varying levels of involvement. Christopher Froelich, Nigel White’s attorney, pointed to Richardson as being the shooter in the case.
Investigators say someone Ramirez knew dropped him off at the hospital, where he died two days later.
