OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An Oshkosh man was among dozens arrested in a worldwide operation to crack down on child sexul abuse.
The FBI says more than 63 law enforcement agencies working with the bureau’s 56 field offices, plus agencies in other countries, made up Operation Kick Boxer. The operation resulted in 65 arrests and 18 children being freed from sexual exploitation.
In our area, 51-year-old Martin McKeever of Oshkosh has been indicted on two counts of possessing and distributing child pornography.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office helped FBI agents in Milwaukee investigate the case.
Other countries where arrests were made include Canada, the United Kingdom, Romania and France.
