MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Justin Bardowski faces misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct charges for 2022 incidents involving a girlfriend. No court dates have been set.
Bardowski was placed on leave from his position as Marinette High School principal in January due to a ‘law enforcement investigation’. His work status was not immediately known Monday, although he is still listed on the district’s website.
According to the criminal complaint, his girlfriend detailed a series of physical abuse incidents inflicted by Bardowski. The assaults included being hit in the face, neck, and arm. The charges are for incidents on Oct. 1-2, 2022 at a hotel.
The complaint does not contain comments from Bardowski.
