MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Former Outagamie County human resources director Adam Westbrook was sentenced Friday to 10 years in federal prison for producing child pornography.
Westbrook, 36, will also serve 20 years on supervised release, court records show.
Westbrook was convicted in September 2024 for actions at a Sauk County hotel. Investigators discovered evidence he filmed and shared videos of a pre-pubescent boy earlier that year.
Westbook had attempted to withdraw his guilty plea in the case, but that was rejected by a federal judge last month. That judge also rejected Westbrook’s arguments that the statute is unconstitutionally vague to determine if the images were lascivious.
Westbrook resigned from his county position after his arrest. He allegedly sent the videos to Preston Kite of Racine, who was sentenced to 65 years in prison for various child pornography-related counts.
