(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers held their first organized team activities open to the media Wednesday.
Head coach Matt LaFleur made limited comments about domestic abuse charges filed against running back Josh Jacobs.
LaFleur did say that the team has high standards.
Getting a lot of first-team reps was running back MarShawn Lloyd.
LaFleur talked about Lloyd so far this offseason.
LaFleur added this about Lloyd, who has spent most of his time as a Packers injured.
What have the Packers seen from Lloyd, despite his previous injuries?
Does LaFleur think Lloyd has turned the corner?
AcmePackingCompany.com reports that he and injured edge rusher Micah Parsons weren’t present.
Injuries kept players like tight end Tucker Kraft, offensive tackle Zach Tom, cornerback Kamal Hadden, and defensive linemen Devote Wyatt and Jordan Riley off the field.
Reporters say rookie kicker Trey Smack connected on seven of eight attempts, and they were told that, currently, Skyy Moore, Jayden Reed, and Matthew Golden are candidates to return punts.
