(WNFL) – The Xavier Hawks girls soccer team is one win away from a WIAA Division 4 state championship after defeating Ozaukee/Random Lake 4-0
Helayna Krueger scored 3 goals for Xavier as the Hawks outshot the Warriors 23-0.
Krueger scored her first goal in the 9th minute on a drive into the box with the shot in the left corner. Her second goal came on a lead pass from Khloe Standish with a shot from the box to the post. Goal number 3 came on a turnover that she rifled in from 15 yards out.
Standish scored Xavier’s fourth goal off a corner kick.
Abigail Anderson did not have to make a save for Xavier which is now 22-1.
Bianca Marini had 9 saves for Ozaukee/Random Lake (18-4-1).
Xavier will face The Prairie School for the Division 4 title at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
