(MILWAUKEE BUCKS) – The Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed Ousmane Dieng.
A 6-9, 226-pound forward, Dieng appeared in a career-high 57 games last season with the Bucks and Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging a career-best 7.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 19.3 minutes per game while shooting 42.2% from the field. After averaging 3.7 points in 10.9 minutes per game through his first 27 games with Oklahoma City, Dieng was traded to Milwaukee on Feb. 5 and finished the season averaging 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 26.8 minutes per game in 30 games (20 starts) with the Bucks. He reached double figures in scoring 20 times with Milwaukee, including a career-high 36-point outing on April 1 at Houston, and tallied the first five double-doubles of his career with three double-digit rebounding performances and two games with 10 or more assists.
A 2025 NBA Champion with Oklahoma City, Dieng has played in 166 games over four seasons with the Thunder and Bucks. Originally selected by New York with the 11th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, the French native owns career averages of 5.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 14.7 minutes per game with a 42.3% mark from the field.
