(WTAQ-WLUK) — A pilot returning from EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh was killed in a plane crash.
Sheriff’s officials say it happened just outside of Sioux City, Iowa Sunday.
The pilot was identified as a 64-year-old Colorado man.
Family members say the man was leaving from Oshkosh, piloting a plane he had built himself.
More information is expected to be released Monday.
