(WLUK) — According to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office four cocaine overdoses and one cocaine overdose death happened in Marinette County and Menominee County, Michigan since Monday night.
The Sheriff’s Office adds some suspects have been detained in relation to the investigation. However, it is concerned more bad cocaine may have been distributed in the region.
A joint investigation is ongoing between the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office, Menominee Police Department, and Wisconsin-based law enforcement.
Menominee Police encourage those struggling with substance abuse to seek help immediately.
