TOWN OF LIBERTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is dead after a crash in Outagamie County on Wednesday night.
Deputies with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the crash at the intersection of Highway 54 and County Road M in the Town of Liberty just after 9:20 p.m.
Early investigations show the motorcycle was traveling east on Highway 54 before crashing into a vehicle that was turning to head westbound on Highway 54, failing to yield to the motorcycle.
The 70-year-old man from Pennsylvania driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 24-year-old man from New London driving the vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
