(ST. NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) LINLITHGOW, Scotland – St. Norbert College opened the first of its three matches on its quadrennial trip abroad with a 2-2 draw against Linlithgow Rose Football Club.
The Green Knights trailed 1-0 at halftime off an olimpico from the home side before conceding early in the second half.
St. Norbert fought back thanks to two late goals from sophomores Gracie Adrian and Cynthia Coronado, with Coronado’s equalizer coming with just under ten minutes to play.
St. Norbert has two more matches this week, including one tomorrow afternoon against Jarrow Football Club outside of Newcastle, England. It will be the club’s first game since announcing a women’s side in May of this year.
